Posture Specific Core Training

As you may have noticed, I had to take a small break from blogging while I helped my father move out of the house I grew up in. It was a big job, which has consumed much of my free time in last few weeks. The nice thing is, while packing up during the move, we found lots of cool things from my childhood, which I haven’t seen in years. I had lot’s a good memories in that house. But, it’s time to move on for my family.

Now that the move is over and my father is settled into his new residence, I’m back to hit you with more of the latest and greatest in strength & conditioning information.

In today’s video, I display some posture specific core exercise protocols we use for our clients and athletes here at Performance University. Basically, due to each individual’s postural bias, we emphasize certain specific core exercises over others. In other words, we don’t do the same core exercises for our more lordodic athletes that we would use for our less lordodic ones. We’ve found this approach makes our core training safer, more personalized and much more effective for each individual.
